Who is Maya
Award-winning Brazilian electronic music artist Maya Fourteen moves seamlessly across genres, shaping sound through performance, production and curation. Her work has built a strong international audience and carries depth and unmistakable taste.
Maya has been a musician since childhood. That shaped her ear, resulting in emotionally driven, story-telling sets, capable of blending deep, tech, organic and progressive elements into evolving journeys that pull you in, and grow on you.
Born where the Amazon Basin begins, in Mato Grosso, and now based between Europe and South America, she has performed around the world, in major capital cities and key electronic music destinations, with releases on respected electronic music labels.
Deep tech at the centre. Organic and tribal warmth at one edge, progressive momentum at the other. She moves between them by reading the room.
Two recordings mark the range. Amazon Basin was recorded where the rainforest begins, in Mato Grosso: organic tech, tribal texture, sunset pacing. SLS Dubai is the opposite end, seventy-five floors above the city, straight through deep tech and progressive house.
Maya played the 17th anniversary of Greenvalley, five times voted the world's number one club by DJ Mag, on a bill with Beltran, Michael Bibi and Chemical Surf. Her set was the club's first sunset session in over a decade. Also in Brazil, a private FENDI event inside the Yachthouse by Pininfarina, in Balneário Camboriú.
Beyond Brazil: Terra Solis Dubai, Tomorrowland's desert club. World Club Dome, Germany's biggest festival. The Privilege Rooftop at SLS Dubai. Further dates across Europe, the Middle East and Asia, from London and Amsterdam to Tokyo, Bangkok and Bali.
Her recorded sets reach listeners in more than 100 countries, with over 330,000 plays across YouTube and SoundCloud.
Her debut single 'Uniqueness', with spoken word by Francesca Posgai, was handpicked by Marc Romboy for the 20th anniversary album of Systematic Recordings and reached number eight on Beatport. 'Feel Better', an EP with Mario Franca, followed on Steve Lawler's VIVa MUSiC. Her remix of Costax's 'Stay' came out on Dioscuri Records alongside one by Timo Maas.
Selected by Pete Tong for a Future Talent Award at IMS Ibiza in 2025, and awarded the Nicole Moudaber Talent Highlight Prize. Covered by DJ Mag LATAM, Mixmag Brasil and Clubbing TV, and named by Gray Area in 'Brazilian DJs You Must Know For 2026'.

Most recorded sets arrive with nothing but a tracklist. Hers are published with the room attached.
"I love to adapt to the environment, the time of day, the energy in the room. The palette changes, but the identity remains."
Each of the sets carries its own story: where it was recorded, what the room was doing, and how it was built.
